How to get there?

The 1.5 hours of scenic bus journey drops you off at Nayapool from the most beautiful city of Nepal, Pokhara. From Nayapool, travelers should hike the hilly periphery of the Annapurna region along the bank of Modi Khola. The forested-trail of the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek follows tracks densely covered with Rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal.

Locals, herds of mules carrying supplies, livestock, internal tourists are what one will encounter while walking in this region. Witnessing such type of traffic anyone’s heart will render as being a part of one of them. Then travelers proceed through the uphill trek to Ulleri. Ghorepani is the major stopover for this trek where tourists settle for a night. Interestingly, the next day the early morning hike to the world’s famous spot Poon Hill kicks off. After a hike of 30-45 minutes, you can see a glimpse of the first rays at Poon Hill. It like sun shearing through the heart amid majestic mountain parallel to us.

After basking in the morning sun, the trek then makes its way towards the enchanting Ghandruk Village via Tadapani. It is acclaimed as the model village of the region. You will be spending a cozy night at Ghandruk as the last night of the trek.
