- DAY - 1
Drive to Sundarijal; Walk through Forests – Trek to Chisapani
Hikers will be assembled after breakfast and we will take the private vehicle towards Sundarijal which is about an hour from Thamel. We will start walking alongside the large water pipes. The place is the major drinking water supply center to the Kathmandu Valley. During monsoon season the trail will offer the spectacular waterfalls as well. Green lush forests, chirping sounds of birds and wild smell will undoubtedly make your walking bone chilling. Sundarijal is also the source of Nepal’s most holy river Bagmati. While you walk through forests you will start to find the difference in the landscape. Explore the cultural side of the trail as well while walking past the village of Mulkharka which is Lama/Tamang people’s community. Take a downhill from the village through terraced farmlands towards Chisapani. The place is photographer’s paradise as you can clearly see the Mt. Manaslu and Mt. Everest range.
- DAY - 2
Trek to Nagarkot; Sunset View
After breakfast we will start to walk towards Nagarkot. The trail is flat downhill and gentle uphill all the way up to Nagarkot. You will be walking through Tamang settlement, Brahmin, Chhetris community and Newar villages. Terraced farmlands, green lush forests and the view of mountains throughout the trail will make you busy. Lunch will be on the way in the typical local restaurant which will also give you chance to experience the authentic local delicacies. If time permit we can gear up for the sunset view in Nagarkot. The hill station is far from the city chaos and often regarded as the best hideaway destination for the city dwellers. The major sightings of mountains like Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Dorje Lakpa and other 12 peaks can be experienced in Nagarkot.
- DAY - 3
Trek to Changunarayan; Drive to Kathmandu
Early in the morning we will experience the sunrise and head towards Changunarayan after breakfast. Walking downhill to this UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE site is completely different experience. You will walk through Newar villages and their artistic building as well as architectural brilliance will lure you further. Changunarayan is religiously and touristic important place for the history and architecture lovers. We will take lunch and drive back to hotel in Kathmandu.
